Rooms & Rates

• All rates include breakfast, we do not offer a room only rate therefore, if you miss breakfast, the rate will remain the same.

• Reservations must be confirmed with a 50% deposit which is non-refundable. We request you advise us at the time of booking if you wish to bring your pet with you.

• Prices are based on 1 or 2 adults sharing a room, with additional fees for extra guests. Our rates are inclusive of VAT.

• Under 16-year-olds aren’t permitted to stay alone, unless there is a parent/guardian also staying in the pub.

• Amendments – Date amendments can be made at the discretion of the owner.

• Cancellations – If you cancel the room, 48hours prior to arrival, no further charge will be incurred. Less than

48hours will incur a charge for the 1st night Bed & Breakfast Rate.

• Once you book you are entering into a contract with us and agree that you know the deposit is non-refundable.

Transfer to a different date will be at the owner’s discretion.

• Occupancy – Some rooms are able to accommodate an extra bed or a travel cot etc – we must know you need

this at the time of booking so we can have it ready for you – we cannot guarantee we can offer this service if

you only tell us upon arrival.

• Luggage – if your luggage is being picked up/dropped off with us please make sure we know in advance and be

advised we do not take responsibility for any luggage left.

• Check in is from 15:00 – 21:00 if you think you may arrive later, please let us know in advance and try to give

an E.T.A.

• Check out is 10:00am

 

Pets

• You must inform us before your arrival if you are bringing your well-behaved pet/s with you. Pets must not be left unaccompanied in your room. You are free to use our garden, however you must pick up after your pet and dispose in the bin provided.

• We are a pet friendly property; however, we politely ask that paws remain on the floor and not on seating/beds.

• We realise mistakes/accidents happen, that said any damage made by you, your party or your pet to the

property, will incur a charge, to be fixed and/or cover loss of income.

General

• The Buck is a non-smoking (including Vaping) property, there are smoking/vaping areas outside for you to use, if you have been found to have been smoking/vaping in the room, you will incur a deep cleaning charge and cover any loss of income while the room airs. Please use the cigarette bins provided.

• Car parking – Located on the main car park of the village, which has an honesty box – the Buck does not accept responsibility for cars parked there.

• Accessibility – Unfortunately, all our rooms are accessed via stairs, due to the age of the building.

• We reserve the right to request valid photographic proof of identity and age

• Special Request – If you are coming to celebrate a special time with us, please be advised we do not offer

services such as cakes, flowers, decorations – should you wish to have them delivered to us, we will put them

in your room ready for arrival.

• Dinner – We do not make reservations for tables, we run on a first come first served basis. If we have no tables

when you come to dine, please make yourselves known at the bar so we can watch out for a table for you. Last

orders are 8pm, so you can decide if you want to wait for a table or try to get one elsewhere.

• Breakfast – Breakfast will be served between 08:00 & 09:00

• If you have charged items to your room, we will take payment after breakfast along with the remainder of your

bill. If you check out before settling your bill, we will take the payment via the card you used to secure the room.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, subject to any rights consumers may have under applicable law.
